Sue migrated to NZ as a child from South Africa in 1979. In 1982 she was a b’nei mitzvah of Beth Shalom where she continues to be an active adult member. Sue has a passion for stories of people and place - of cultural identity and the way we share and make meaning in our lives. Her current work includes oral history, local community development, heritage and local history with libraries and social justice education and research projects.
