Rabbi Samuel Altschul is the Senior Rabbi of the Auckland Hebrew Congregation. He received Smicha (Rabbinical ordination) from Harav Daniel Channen, Yeshivat Pirchei Shoshanim, Bnei Brak, Israel. He holds an MA in philosophy and a BA in Comparative Religious Studies from Universities in Denmark along with a post graduate degree from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. He is married to Shosha and they have two boys.
