A look at a few of the fascinating new phenomena that are changing Israel! Palestinians are seeking to move inside Israel. Jewish settlers in the West Bank want to build a partnership with the Palestinian Authority based on ecological values. Arabs and Jews are sharing a new economy in Gush Etzion. Arab soldiers in the IDF and Arab students are attending the Jewish College of Ariel in Samaria. Jews are doing ‘national’ service instead of ‘army’ service in NGOs that are pro-Palestinian. Is it possible we are talking of yesterday’s conflict when there’s a new reality? (TN)
